The banking system provides you with the security of having your items safe. There is only one drawback and that is that space is limited to 69 items. Players are able to hold additional items owning a house.
Stores will give you the opportunity to upgrade your equipment, as well as the opportunity to sell the items you get for some gold coins. There are different stores all over the map so be sure to explore it carefully. Who knows what items a hidden vendor can sell you...
