# Season 0 - The Origin

### The Origin

On Tuesday, April 29, our **Season 0: The Origin** begins. It will last 45 days and will be entirely focused on the community. Season 0 **starts on Tuesday, April 29, and will end on Friday, June 13**.<br>

#### How can I play Season 0?&#x20;

You just need to register by going to <https://sprite.land> and creating an account. If you have a referral code, enter it here. Once this is done, you can start playing!

### How do the prizes work?

Participating in the prize pool is very easy. Every time you defeat an enemy, it may drop **diamonds.**&#x20;

These diamonds will be considered points for your Season 0. The more diamonds you accumulate, the larger the prize pool you will win when the season ends.

#### How do I calculate the prize?

Your prize will be the percentage of diamonds you have relative to the total diamonds in circulation. Each time a mob drops a diamond, these are put into circulation, so their growth will be constant.

If the prize pool reaches 100,000 USDC and there are 200,000 diamonds in circulation, and you have 600, your reward for participating in Season 0 will be 300 USDC.

Keep in mind that for the diamonds to count toward your score, they **must be deposited in the Banker**. You can find Bankers scattered at various points on the map.

The distribution is simple. The Sprite Land prize pool consists of three main components:

* Revenue from the store.
* 100% Royalties from the Founders NFT Collection.
* Revenue from advertising and other events.
* Revenue from our coinflip game ([PLAY NOW](https://ronkeflip.sprite.land/))
* 🆕 5% from [Houses NFT Collection](/wiki/houses-nft-collection.md) Mint Sale&#x20;
* 🆕 100% Royalties from the Houses NFT Collection.

All these revenues are converted to USDC in our wallets and form part of the prize pool.

**No matter which blockchain you're playing from, the prize pool is combined as a single unit, and you can redeem it on various networks.**

**Additionally, 100,000,000 $SPRITE (10% of the total supply) will be distributed in the same way as the diamonds.**

#### The prize distribution is as follows:

A) 80% of the prize pool is distributed among all diamond holders.

B) 10% will be allocated to our referral program, such that:

* 7% of what a player purchases in the store goes directly to their referrer.
* 3% of what a player earns during Season 0 goes directly to their referrer.

All players who do not have a referral code assigned to their account will contribute to the prize pool, adding to the aforementioned 80%.\

C) 10% goes to the Team.

#### Bonuses and Penalties

There are a series of elements that will provide bonus points, which will be calculated afterward by the Sprite Land team, such that:

* Burning NFTs from the Founder Collection **will add bonus points**.
* Dying via PVP **will deduct bonus points** from Season 0.

### Level Adjustement

For the start of Season 0, a final level adjustment will be made for those players who participated in Sprite Land Beta3.

Items, pets, quest progress, and achievements will not be lost; only the levels will be updated, and the difficulty to level up will be reviewed.
